What data is collected and why

Intake form

When you fill in the contact / intake form, the following data is collected: your name, email address, job role, team setup, and the message you write. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and assess whether a training session would be a good fit.

This data may be processed by trusted service providers strictly as necessary to operate the website, email communication, hosting, and spam protection. These may include WordPress, CAL.pl, Google (Gmail), and Cloudflare Turnstile.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Server logs

The web server automatically records standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Logs are retained for a limited period for security, technical, and administrative purposes and then deleted or overwritten in the normal server cycle.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.

Cloudflare Turnstile

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the contact form against automated spam and abuse. Turnstile may process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, and interaction signals in order to determine whether a submission is made by a human. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary security-related technologies as part of this protection.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in preventing spam and protecting the website.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve content, structure, and performance. Google Analytics is only loaded after you provide consent via the cookie banner on this site. Until consent is given, no analytics data is collected or transmitted to Google.

When active, Google Analytics may process data such as your IP address (anonymised), device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions with the website.

You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings banner on this site.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent.

Hosting and service providers

This website is hosted by CAL.pl. Depending on how you contact the site or use its features, personal data may also be processed by service providers used to operate the website and communication tools, including:

  • CAL.pl — hosting and server infrastructure
  • Google (Gmail / Google Analytics) — email communication and website analytics (GA only with your consent)
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — spam and abuse protection
  • WordPress and installed plugins — website content management and form handling

These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

Cookies

This site uses strictly necessary technical cookies required for core website functionality and form protection (including Cloudflare Turnstile). These do not require your consent.

This site also uses Google Analytics, which sets measurement cookies. These are only activated after you give consent via the cookie banner. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings banner on this site.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — you can request a copy of data held about you
  • Rectification — you can request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — you can request deletion of your data
  • Restriction — you can request restriction of processing in certain cases
  • Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Data portability — where applicable, you can request your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time
  • Complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact: hello@codedeutsch.com. Requests are handled within 30 days.

Data retention

Intake form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, and generally deleted within 12 months if no training engagement follows. If you become a client, relevant communication may be retained for the duration of the engagement and for any legally required retention period.
